POW Partners

To achieve our aggressive grant goals, Protect Our Winters is seeking strong partnerships with corporations who share our vision.

Protect Our Winters is a nonprofit organization. As such, we actively pursue grants and donations to cover operating expenses. We also work closely with partners to develop specific programs that help achieve their marketing/sustainability goals, with results they can stand behind.  Partners can support us in a number of ways:

1. Funding POW Monthly Grants and the General Fund

• POW makes grants each month, throughout the year to organizations that meet our mission.  Grant applications are reviewed monthly.
• POW is also very active in community activism projects to help raise awareness and engagement at the local level.

2. Funding Specific POW Initiatives

• POW Solar Schools Initiative
• POW Kids Educational Program

3.  Developing and Funding Custom Projects
Creating new, unique programs that meet partners specific marketing/sustainability initiatives.  A most recent project includes the production and marketing/distribution of “Generations”, a climate change film by The North Face and TGR.

4.  1% For The Planet
Directing funds to POW via a contribution to One Percent For The Planet
