Venture Snowboards, in Silverton, CO contributed 1% of their profits to Protect Our Winters this past week.  In addition to making this generous donation, Venture premiered POW’s “My Own Two Feet” in March to raise money for Silverton’s Center for Snow and Avalance Studies.  Venture is committed to environmental sustainability and is planning to move into a 4,000 sq. foot sustainable snowboard factory in Silverton soon that includes passive and active solar features, as well as the use of sustainable, recycled, and reclaimed materials throughout. The building will house Venture’s production facility, administrative offices and a small showroom.
