Protect Our Winters’ Statement on the Events in Washington D.C.

Protect Our Winters is deeply disturbed by the actions taken against our democracy in Washington D.C. today. We believe in the integrity of the vote and its standing as the cornerstone of our country’s democracy. This fall, the citizens of the United States, including the Outdoor State, made plans to vote, showed up and made sure their voices were heard. The certification of these votes is sacred and the will of the people will prevail. We stand behind the results of what was a free and fair election. We support the right of every citizen to speak out freely, but condemn these actions for what they are, an illegal attack on the democratic process.
