
Dr. Lee Parton
Assistant Professor of Environmental Economics
Dr. Parton is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Economics at Boise State University. Their research focuses on land-use, recreation modeling, and non-market valuation, with particular attention to how climate change shapes recreation demand. Since joining Boise State in 2018, they have worked to advance student engagement around environmental and economic challenges. Dr. Parton also serves on the executive board of the Hazards and Climate Resilience Institute, where they collaborate with communities and organizations to strengthen resilience amid climate and economic uncertainty.
