Powder Grant Overview: Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy

In Spring 2015, the Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy in Vail, CO were granted a Powder Grant through our Hot Planet/Cool Athletes program, after participating in one of our athlete-led climate education assemblies.

After a bit of research, they determined how much energy they were using for their devices, and were astonished at just how much they were using. They put their heads together and came up with an alternative way to power their laptops, cell phones, and other devices. This video gives you an inside look at the result.
