Cloe Coscoy

Climber

Cloe is 22 years old and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Both of her parents are French, so her younger brother and her are dual-citizens and speak the language at home! Bridges Rock Gym opened near her house in El Cerrito, CA when she was 12. Cloe’s family started climbing there and she joined the youth team pretty quickly. Those who have spent time around Cloe know that she loves to cook and is a huge foodie. She cooks dinner for her roommates most nights. Cloe loves to be outside and run around, play games like tennis and volleyball, and snowboard in the winter.

In her first World Cup season, 2022, she made all of the IFSC Boulder World Cup Semifinals and finished the year in 13th World Rank. Cloe is a 2-time Vice-National Champion in Bouldering and former PanAmerican Champion in Bouldering and Lead. She climbs outside when she is not in heavy training phases for competition and often seeks out fun and flowy routes/boulders. She has climbed many double digit boulders and 5.13s, but is hoping to expand on experiences outdoors and try big-wall climbing and deep water soloing.
