Kaare Iverson

Photographer & Director

Kaare Iverson is a photographer + director based in San Francisco, California. Kaare was born in Canada and named after a boat that was named after a boat. All three of them pronounce their name “kori”.

Kaare was taught that you simply can’t force things – that life has a way of refining you into what you are innately built to do. In this life Kaare has tried to be a little bit of everything; teacher, chef, climber-bum, writer, etc… But he’s always had the storytelling power of photography there with him, pulling at his sleeve, directing him through it all. Kaare is, innately, a photographer.

Kaare’s personal work is informed by a deep respect for this planet we’re flying around on and focuses primarily on the intersection of human ingenuity and ecology – though he does occasionally succumb to bouts of creative ADHD.
