Katie Cooney is an adventure, outdoor, and lifestyle photographer and illustrator based in the Driggs, Idaho, under the western slope of the Teton range.
Whimsical, story-driven imagery with heart and soul vibrant great color is Katie’s thing, capturing the beauty and feeling of every moment – from sweeping landscapes to tiny details. Katie brings this idea to both her photographs and illustration work. With a background in photojournalism, Katie learned to be the documentarian, but is unafraid of embracing her artistic sensibilities to color outside the lines.
Katie is passionate about working with stories, people, brands, and projects that value the intersection of expression, the outdoors, and the celebration of an adventurous lifestyle. (Bonus points for a focus on conservation, public land, and equity in the outdoors!)
