After becoming the only woman to have won two consecutive World Freeskiing Champion Titles, Kit Deslauriers redirected her career towards ski mountaineering. She became the first person in the world to have skied off the top of the 7 Summits, the highest points on the 7 continents. Her favorite skiing experiences were the first descents she made in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge of Alaska. She currently resides in the Teton Range of Wyoming with her husband Rob and their two daughters, Grace and Tia.
