Tim Harden

Tim Harden was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and at the age of 18 eagerly moved west to Colorado for college and to pursue his outdoor passions. Tim’s love for mountains, wilderness, wildlife, and trout has led him to live in or near the Rocky Mountains, Sierra Nevada Mountains, and Santa Cruz Mountains for most of his life. He first worked in the outdoors as a fly shop employee, instructor, and fly fishing guide in the early 2000s and has worked in the outdoors and travel industries for many years. His start in fly fishing media was with Wild On The Fly — a magazine in Boulder, Colorado, and he has since managed The Venturing Angler, written articles for magazines, worked on shows and films, and more.

Tim is a wildlife and adventure travel photographer who has traveled the world photographing wild places, and he owns a digital marketing company called Coast Fly Media. Through his guide service, Bighorn Wilderness Tours, he guides wildlife photography trips in Yellowstone. Tim is also the host of The Expeditions Podcast.
