Welcome to POW San Juans
POW San Juans is a home base for Coloradans who care about the places we recreate. Whether you ski, fish, trail run, or just love the views, you have a seat at our table. We’re building people power for climate action by supporting local action efforts, getting clean energy on the grid, and boosting voter turnout.

Meet Your Field Organizer
Leda Ebert
Leda was born and raised on the Western Slope of Colorado, where she grew up hiking, biking, snowboarding, and camping.
In high school, Leda attended the Woolman Semester in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which solidified her interest in social and environmental justice. She attended Luther College, receiving a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Anthropology and Sociology. During college summers, Leda worked at a regenerative vegetable farm on the Western Slope, marking the beginning of a lifelong love of farming. She returned to farming and worked seasonally as a ranger in Utah while pursuing an M.A. in Adventure Education at Prescott College. In 2024, Leda moved to Ridgway to work for a nonprofit focused on one-to-one mentoring. She is excited to join POW as the Western Slope Field Organizer and looks forward to bringing communities together.
Away from work, Leda enjoys distance running, cooking, climbing, snowboarding, wonky art projects, and her two rescue guinea pigs, Francis and Momo.
